Taylor J. Stevenson, LE & Founder
Taylor is a compassionate, diligent, and deeply knowledgeable esthetician with over five years of hands-on industry experience. Rooted in the luxury spa environment, she brings that refined level of care, elegance, and professionalism into every aspect of her own business. Formally trained at the Cortiva Institute of Massage & Skincare and fully licensed in the State of Maryland, she combines technical expertise with a warm, personalized approach—creating an elevated experience for every client she serves.
The entrepreneurial spark has been alive in her since graduating from VCU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Soon after returning home her journey began with the launch of Five Sense Gifting Company, a creative venture built around thoughtfully curated sensory-based gift baskets. However, outsourcing every product that went into each basket quickly became costly and inefficient. Determined to streamline operations and elevate her offerings, she began formulating her own body butters—an unexpected step that ignited a deeper passion for skincare.
As she attended local pop-ups and connected with fellow small business owners, her vision grew. She realized she wanted to build something lasting—something that could one day serve as a true legacy.
One pivotal moment shaped the direction of her future business. After receiving feedback from a customer who experienced a mild flare-up from a eucalyptus and mint body butter, she took the time to learn more. Through further conversation, it became clear the customer was navigating an eczema flare-up unrelated to the product itself. Still, the experience highlighted something important: to offer products and services with confidence, she needed a deeper understanding of the skin.
That moment sparked a shift—from simply creating formulations to learning the science, structure, and care of the skin at a higher level. And from that commitment to knowledge, excellence, and intentional care, Obsidian Radiance Oasis, LLC was born.
